UNLV Soccer Camps 2009 Residential Boys Soccer Camp For: Boys, Ages 13-18 Dates: July 9 - 12, 2009 Location: UNLV Main Campus Residence: On-campus dormitory with 24-hour supervision by camp staff. Roommates will be assigned randomly, unless requested. Meals: All meals are provided by Campus Dining Services located near the dorms *Confirmation letter with further details upon registration.
Camp Objective The UNLV residential camp is designed to improve the skills of all players from ages 13-18. Players are divided based on age and ability to provide a challenging and competitive environment, while also having fun. The focus is to enhance the technical abilities through an increased amount of touches on the ball. Small sided games are used to develop tactical components and put the players in decision making situations. Full sided games are then added for the complete training environment. The player to staff ratio is kept low to maximize the experience and provide better instruction to each individual. Specialized instruction for goalkeepers will be provided by an experienced collegiate goalkeeper coach. Camp Schedule 7:00am Breakfast 8:30am Field Session 11:30am Lunch 1:30pm Indoor Training Session 3:00pm Swimming Pool / Stretching 5:00pm Dinner 6:30pm Field Session 9:15pm Pizza/ Video 10:00pm Lights Out *Indoor training sessions are used to advance individual technique in our new campus sports facility. Medical Information A full-time medical trainer will be on duty to administer minor injuries and ailments. Registrations will not be processed without a completed medical consent form and a copy of medical insurance. Cancellation Policy There is a $100 non-refundable administration fee for all cancellations. |
