 Ashford Women's Volleyball Camps"CHAMPS INVITE" High School Team Camp Who: Open to girls’ volleyball teams who will be entering high school for the 2009-2010 school year. Entry will be on first-come basis as space allows. It is open to Iowa and Illinois Varsity volleyball teams. When: Sunday, July 12, 2009 Where: Kehl Arena, located on the campus of Ashford University Cost: $100 for entries postmarked by June 25, 2009. $125 for all entries postmarked after June 25, 2009.
Deadline for tournament entry is July 5, 2009.
  What: The 3rd Annual “Champs Invite” will include several Iowa high schools competing against several Illinois high schools. There are Bragging Rights on the line this year as each team competes in trying to represent their state. What a great opportunity this brings as we don’t usually get to play the teams that live right across the mighty Mississippi River. Format: The format will consist of at least four pool play matches. After pool play, team seeding will be based on overall match record & tie breaking procedures. The tournament will consist of one match based on seeding from each pool (1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6, 7 vs 8, etc.) Awards: Awards will be given to the winning team in each division (big schools & small schools). |
